BNRP Server Rules

Radio Etiquette: all members of the emergency services will follow the correct radio etiquette when working with a radio, they will not talk other users. pursuits and armed incidents will change channels as quickly as possible to avoiding clogging the airways. 

Roleplay: all members involved in civ-RP will not RDM, fail rp or VDM, cop baiting is strictly prohibited. We are a British rp, pulling automatic weapons is not allowed as these are not available for private purchase in the uk, rifles, shotguns, sub machine and pistols as well as all melee weapons are available to civs. 

Civilians: In version 2 of BNRP all members will be considered CIV1 trained; this will allow them to RP as a Civilian in the server on their second character accounts. While on as a CIV you must not revert back to your service role and must complete all RPs you have started. You will have a one life policy if your CIV is killed then they are dead forever. PLEASE MAKE sure you RP as you would in real life with this rule, you should be afraid of death!!! (funerals can be held for those who wish to have them). 

Please make sure that your RPs are different but realistic. You will have access to melee weapons only as a CIV1, you must train and progress to CIV2 to be able to carry and use firearms and CIV three for all terrorist type calls as well as mass murder ect. 

Civilians are an integral part of the community and ecosystem, there is no requirement for you to be a criminal, however if stopped by police then you must comply with the officer, if the officer breaks the law then please contact the relevant supervisor who will investigate this. 

Courts and legal system: All Civs will be subject to the BNRP legal system, you have the same rights as you would in real life, you have the right to have a legal representative at your interview they will then be your court rep. Please make every effort to attend if you know you're in court, as judgement will be passed in your absence and you will be jailed when you come to the next patrol. ALL JAIL TIME MUST BE SERVED before you can continue with CIV RP calls. 

Police must make sure that all cases are handed over to CPS within 1 week of them being opened, failure to do this will result in the case being dropped and bail being removed from the CIV. Officers may use alternative disposals like fines, cautions and warnings instead of taking a case to court, but this must be documented on the case. 

Jobs: Jobs for civs are available and can be carried out as per the requirements for the job (this will be displayed in game). Please feel free to change jobs as you please however you may only hold one public service job per account, if you wish to have two public service roles then the activity will be in addition to your main role. 

Service Roles: All service personnel are subject to PSD and must comply with PSD if asked to do so. Anyone who fails to do so may be subject to dismissal of public service and their character will be removed and become a CIV. 

In the event a crime is committed by a public service member then they are subject to arrest by PSD and will be suspended while this is investigated, they are free to use the character however they must not work any public service role until they have been reinstated by PSD. 

Record keeping and admin: Like with all public services we have admin and case reports that must be completed, we ask you to try and state 9 during your shift to complete these, however, if it isn’t possible you can log time to complete these within 48 hours. ANYONE who fails to log the discharge of their firearms will be subject to having their firearms license revoked, this also applies to taser-trained officers. Remember that case reports will be used by the court system and will be used to prosecute CIVs. 

Service Protocol: all members are expected to follow the chains of command and we ask that you respect those in a rank senior to yourselves. command members are identified by their uniforms, moderators will be identified by their hoodie when not on duty. owners are identified by their owners hoodies or by the crowns on their uniform.

Moderation: Moderators are generally in senior ranks, they are here to help all members as well as keep the server safe, if you see someone breaking the rules please call for a mod. 

if you break the rules then you will be issued a warning. the warnings work as bellow: 

1st verbal warning 

If you continue then you will be kicked from the server. 

2nd tx warning 

If you continue you will be kicked again from the server.

3rd tx warning and final kick 

BANNING : 

A ban will come from a senior moderator or owner. this will only be lifted if proven that it was issued in error or without prior warnings. 

immediate bans: 

if a member commits any of the following then an immediate non appeal ban will be issued 

any derogatory, homophobic, racist, sexist or otherwise offensive remarks are made to anyone in the community. 

raiding, mass killing (outside of authorised RP), RDM, murdering multiple police without warning.

abuse of administration or moderator powers 

leaking of assets, paperwork, training or other projects or property belonging to BNRP

Community: we aim to have a healthy community as a whole, where everyone has a chance to grow and develop together. We ask that the above rules are followed and we hope you enjoy your time in bank street roleplay. 

Multi Clanning: Any rank above Inspector or equivalent will need to be dedicated to BNRP, with this in mind we will be asking that anyone above these ranks not be a member of a competing British RP server, this will apply for all RPCs and any public server with RPC elements as well as those using FMS. 

PCs and SGTs will be immune from this rule however in order to progress you will be asked to choose which server you wish to progress with. 

Activity: we hold an activity requirement of 24 hours a month (or 12 hours per 2 week period). This can be made up of admin type work and case reports as well as active patrol time. Your hours MUST be logged on the forum and signed off by a member of silver command or above in order to count. 

The check will happen on every 2nd and 4th week of the month.

2 - Use Respected Channels Properly 

Images, Movies, And Other Content Made By Or Directly Associated To Bsrp Are Designated As Media. You May Add A Caption To A Photo And Respond To Other People's Posts, But You Should Not Send Text Messages In The Channel Until You Start A Thread.  

3 - Unacceptable Content 

In Any Text Chats, Especially Nsfw Chats, Do Not Upload Any Pornography, Gore, Violent, Or Otherwise Nsfw Content..  

4 - Chain Of Command

When Contacting People, Follow The Chain Of Command. Make Sure You're Initially Contacting Players Who Are One Level Above Than You. If Your Problem Cannot Be Fixed With A ⁠tickets Or By A Lower-Ranked Officer, Do Not Immediately Message Bronze/Silver/Gold. 

5 - Unnecessary User/Role Mentions 

Please Don't Ping Higher-Ups For No Reason; They're All Incredibly Busy. You Are Allowed To Ping Them, But Only If You Have A Good Cause And Give Them 72 Hours To Answer.
